It is our mission to provide your child with a safe, nurturing environment in which to learn and grow. Your child will be given the opportunity to develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually at his/her own pace.

Learning Through Play
LFA follows a developmentally appropriate “hands-on” curriculum.
Teachers who are experienced in the development and education of young children will be teaching your children.
The low staff-child ratios allow for lots of individual attention.
what parents say
I appreciate the baby sign language that my son has learned (“more”). We had dropped my son off at my parents last weekend. My mom, who is a retired special ed teacher, told me how wonderful it is that he knew baby signs… It was a wonderful surprise. Great job by the teachers.
My young Granddaughter has grown tremendously in her social skills and is opening up to the learning experience that Little Flyers Academy provides for the children. She is in tune to the world around her, thanks to the nature walks and exploring the five senses in a fun way and yet learning. What comes natural I say Thank You to the entire staff for the enrichment they add to not just my granddaughter but to all the children who attend LFA. A job well done!!!
LFA has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) via achieving the highest standards around. So, congratulations to all the teachers, staff, and parents, as we have given our children the best in child development. The location is a big factor because it is so convenient for everyone. Having my son right in the same building is great because my husband and I can have lunch with him any day of the week. As an LFA infant room teacher I can say it is very convenient for other parents as well. Often our infant room parents come down and play, bottle feed, or breast feed their children in a warm nurturing environment. Little Flyers Academy is everything my family and I wanted in a childcare center. They provide a quality education, have small class sizes, are convenient with flexible hours, and provide a welcoming environment.
The best thing about Little Flyers Academy for me is the location. Since I work at the Tech Center, it’s easy to drop off my daughter and go to work. I can also stop by and see her for lunch or any other time during the day (such as for “make-and-take”), and the teachers are very accommodating with that. It’s easy to build relationships with the teachers since we are all working in the same building, and this helps with knowing what’s going on. Additionally, if she gets sick or otherwise needs my attention, I’m right here. My daughter is nearly three, and we’ve had her at LFA for almost two years. Because the facility is provided, I feel they are better able to hire quality teachers and keep fees low. They are continually working to improve the curriculum, and I’m frequently surprised by the things she learns at her age. Further, in terms of security, I don’t think there’s any day care in the area more secure than LFA.
Both of my children have attended LFA and I have been overwhelming pleased with the care they receive. My oldest was more than prepared for Kindergarten and my youngest will be starting school in September. I am sure she will be just as prepared as her sister was to begin her educational journey. I believe in the NAEYC approach to learning because it lets children discover and grow in their own individual way. The program teaches them problem solving skills which they will have for the rest of their lives as they encounter different developmental experiences. The ability to easily gain access to my daughter during her daily routine either on a break from work, or during lunchtime, is immeasurable to mothers (and fathers) leaving their children in the care of others. I also enjoy knowing most of the other parents because a majority of us work together somewhere on base. Having your child at a secure facility is very comforting. It is the next best thing to having your child cared for at home by a family member.
Our son started at LFA approximately 2 months ago. He is in the infant room with Ms. Tina and Ms. Rachel. Every time we drop him off and pick him up, he is smiling! It makes us feel good knowing he is enjoying himself. Both teachers are excellent with him. We love that they do crafts, listen to stimulating music, and are attentive to his needs. In the short time he has been at LFA we have been impressed with everything and would highly recommend it to others. LFA has a family atmosphere that makes us feel right at home.
